EXPANDER DIPSWITCH SETTINGS

Expander addressing and the LEDS are controlled by DIPswitch SW1.

SW1-1 to SW1-3 are used for expander addressing. Expanders must be numbered sequen

tially from 1 to 7. The address is configured as follows (X indicates OFF) :

If an expander address is changed, the unit must have power removed and then reapplied in

order for the master to recognize its new address. All the expander’s programmed parame-

ters, aside from the voice messages, will reset to the default parameters when its address is

changed and will have to be re-programmed. When the expander is powered back up, “Pro-

gram code error” will be announced, indicating that the expander was reset. Only the ex-

pander with the changed address will reset. The master and the rest of the expanders will

retain their programmed parameters.

SW1-8 is used to turn the LEDs on and off. SW1-4, SW1-5, SW1-6,and SW1-7 are not

used.
